You've studied for months. You know the content. But if you panic on the day, it's all for nothing. Here is the routine to ensure your brain is 100% ready when you open that paper.
The Night Before
- No Cramming: Stop studying at 8 PM. Your brain needs to unwind.
- Pack Your Bag: Calculators, black pens (x2), ID card, clear water bottle. Do this now so you don't panic in the morning.
- Sleep: Aim for 8 hours. Melatonin is your friend.
The Morning Of
7:00 AM - Wake Up & Hydrate
Drink a large glass of water immediately. Your brain is dehydrated after sleep.
7:30 AM - The Right Breakfast
Avoid high sugar. Eat oats, eggs, or toast. Slow-release energy prevents a mid-exam crash.
In the Exam Hall
When you sit down, don't open the paper immediately when they say "start."
Close your eyes. Take 3 deep breaths. Remind yourself: "I have prepared for this. I can handle this." This resets your cortisol levels.
Read the instructions carefully. Check the number of questions. Plan your time. Then, attack the paper.
